The prestigious lifetime achievement award was presented to Dr. Muhammed Majeed, Founder and Chairman, Sami-Sabinsa Group in recognition of his exemplary services in the nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals industry. The award was presented by ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) on the occasion of Ayush Mela which is one of India’s largest virtual exhibition and conference related to Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy which was held from October 30 – November 1, 2020. There were 34 categories of awards which saw nominations from different fields of AYUSH. ASSOCHAM received more than 150 nominations for awards in different categories out of which 75 nominations were short listed across different categories. The nominations were selected by a jury of eminent persons.
