Sabinsa Corp. received the Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award for the year 2004. The award was presented at the Council's Annual Awards Dinner on November 11, 2004, at the Liberty Science Center, New Jersey. Sabinsa's U.S. patent (No. 5,804,596) for ForsLean® was awarded this honor in the Consumer/Small Company category.

This is the second award for ForsLean® in the innovation arena. The product earlier won the Best New Product award in 2001 at Nutracon.
