On 11 March 2026, Dr. Anju Majeed, Group Executive Chairperson of the Sami-Sabinsa Group, visited CSIR-NIIST to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The visit aimed to identify strategic partnerships that leverage the expertise and strengths of both organizations to advance scientific research and innovation.

Dr. Arvind Saklani, Vice President – Agri-Biotechnology at Sami-Sabinsa Group, also joined the discussions. Both parties explored avenues for collaborative projects that can drive progress in science, technology, and industry.
